While reviewing scanned documents, you can split a multi-page document into multiple documents using one of the following features.
Create Document feature
This feature pulls a single page out of a document and moves it to a new, separate document. Give me an example.
- Select a document in the Scanning Explorer Pane.
- Navigate to a page using the
and
buttons on the Display Pane's Navigation toolbar.
- Click the
button. The new document will appear in the Scanning Explorer Pane.
Note: You can also create a document from a page by selecting the page in the Thumbnails pane, right-clicking and choosing Create Document.
Split Document feature
This feature pulls one or more pages out of a document and moves them to a new, separate document. Give me an example.
- Select a document in the Scanning Explorer Pane.
- Navigate to a page using the
and
buttons on the Display Pane's Navigation toolbar.
- Click the
button. The displayed page, and all following pages, will be used to create the new document. The new document will appear in the Scanning Explorer Pane.
Note: You can also split a document by selecting the first page of the new document in the Thumbnails pane, right-clicking and choosing Split Document.
Tip: When you have finished reviewing and modifying documents, store them in a Laserfiche repository
